About Us

Established in 1965 the 28-room Inn at Swan River is an elegant example of the Cape Cod architectural style. The Inn retains many of its original features including steep pitched gable roofs, wooden shingles, an exterior timber plank 1st floor walkway and a vintage hand painted road sign guiding travelers to its location. The rooms have been updated with modern amenities and comforts.

The Inn is easily accessible via Route 28 and a short 15-minute drive from Barnstable Municipal Airport.

The Inn is nestled in the heart of West Dennis allowing guests access to 16 pristine beaches near to it. South Village Beach is a mere 1.3 miles away.

The Inn’s secluded pool offers a relaxing retreat from the summer heat. Set amongst the Inn's lush garden are some very special trees including Japanese Stewartia, Japanese Maples, Nellie R. Holly and much more. Other amenities include a fire pit, barbecue grill and shuffleboard. Each guest room is allocated 1 free parking spot.

All rooms include Samsung 50 inch QLED televisions, state of the art Fujitsu heating & cooling systems and Porcelanosa engineered hardwood flooring from Spain. All bath products are organic, cruelty free and made in the United States.
